Our Story

Growing Kenya's landscapes for two decades

From a single seedling bed to landscapes across 47 counties — this is the story of the people, principles and plants behind Cherry Park Nurseries.

Cherry Park Nurseries' original nursery beds
How We Began

From one nursery bed to a nationwide green legacy

Founder planted his first seedling beds — driven by a simple belief that Kenya's homes and institutions deserved landscapes as resilient as the land itself.

What began as a modest tree nursery supplying smallholder farmers soon grew into a full landscaping practice, as hotels, schools and corporate campuses started asking Cherry Park not just to supply seedlings, but to design, plant and maintain entire grounds. Two decades on, we've propagated over 1.2 million seedlings, completed 850+ projects, and built an in-house team of landscape architects, horticulturists and irrigation engineers who still share that same founding belief.

Today Cherry Park Nurseries Limited is proudly 100% Kenyan-owned, serving clients from Mombasa to Kisumu — while our roots, quite literally, remain in Nairobi.

What Drives Us

Our mission and vision

Our Mission

To design, grow and maintain landscapes that are ecologically resilient and genuinely beautiful — using homegrown horticultural expertise to make every site we touch greener, healthier and more valuable for the people who use it.

Our Vision

To be East Africa's most trusted name in landscaping and tree nurseries — recognised for growing not just plants, but the green infrastructure that helps Kenyan communities thrive for generations to come.

What We Stand For

The values behind every planting

Five principles guide how we design, grow and build relationships with every client we serve.

01

Craftsmanship

Every landscape is treated as a long-term asset, designed and built with the same care we'd give our own gardens.

02

Sustainability

Indigenous species, water-wise irrigation and organic practices guide every design we put forward.

03

Integrity

Transparent quotes, honest timelines, and no shortcuts — trust is the foundation of every client relationship.

04

Local Expertise

Two decades of hands-on experience with Kenyan soils, climates and native flora inform every recommendation we make.

05

Partnership

We see ourselves as long-term custodians of a landscape's growth, not a one-off contractor moving to the next job.

06

Community

From school greening drives to county reforestation projects, we invest seedlings and time back into Kenyan communities.
